As part of its global campaign, Zipporah Hair and Skin Limited has partnered with several entities and non-profit organisations to educate black people about the importance of knowing the ingredients in their beauty products. As a result, Zipporah Hair and Skin Ltd is now one of the main sponsors of The Miss Adanma Pageant (MAP) International, a non-bikini pageant in Nigeria.
Miss Adanma, ‘Daughter of Beauty’, aims to empower women across the world. The pageant seeks to use beauty to promote culture and female empowerment. Its beauty with a purpose mantra was created to build self-esteem and confidence among women through training. With an adept programme in community service, MAP will provide young women of colour with the leadership skills needed to impact the world. The pageant also dictates the beauty of a woman is not in the facial mole but is reflected in her soul.
